Why Was My Transaction 3D Secure Authenticated Even Though I Did Not Receive an OTP?

ODIX cards may use EMV 3-D Secure (3DS) for online transactions. Depending on the transaction and the issuer's real-time risk assessment, 3DS authentication may be completed through either a challenge flow or a frictionless flow.

In a frictionless 3DS flow, authentication may be completed in the background without requiring an SMS OTP, pop-up, or other visible action from you. Therefore, not receiving an OTP does not necessarily mean that 3DS authentication did not take place.

If you do not recognize a transaction, please contact ODIX Pay Support immediately so that we can secure your card and review the transaction.
